What you'll do:
As an Analyst / Associate in Planning Department at Global Markets Division for Asia, you will play an integral role in supporting both daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include coordinating essential business functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and reviewing internal control processes. You will work closely with the Planning Head on various projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and implementing regional strategies. Building strong relationships with stakeholders—both locally and internationally—will be central to your success in this role. You will also ensure that all activities comply fully with regulatory requirements by upholding ethical standards and assisting in policy development. In addition to regular reporting duties, you will have opportunities to participate in special projects that broaden your experience and contribute meaningfully to the division’s objectives.
Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the Global Markets business area, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Support the Planning Head in developing comprehensive business strategies, contributing to business promotion planning, operational efficiency improvements, and the successful implementation of regional projects.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally across departments and externally with partners, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Partner closely with overseas branches and Head Office teams to support the creation and execution of robust business strategies for the Global Markets Division.
Ensure full compliance with prevailing regulations by demonstrating ethical behaviour at all times and adhering strictly to all internal controls established for the team.

Take responsibility for preparing management or departmental reports, providing accurate information that supports decision-making processes within the division.
Participate actively in ad hoc projects or assignments as required, contributing your insights and expertise to drive successful outcomes.

You possess excellent organisational capabilities that help you manage complex tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Your interpersonal skills foster positive relationships with colleagues across different regions and cultures. Effective communication—especially fluency in both Japanese and English—enables you to share ideas clearly whether collaborating on projects or preparing reports.
