WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
We are expanding the ADC Data & Communication team, which operates across Warsaw, Manila, and Mexico City. The DWH/BI Consultant is a highly skilled professional working within Consulting Services and based at the Advanced Delivery Center. The primary purpose of this role is to provide expert advice and functional delivery for the successful deployment of SimCorp Client Reporting products and services within a client's environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Act as a trusted advisor, supporting our clients in the Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence area.
Facilitate requirements gathering workshops in both business and technical areas.
Participate in data platform modernization initiatives to offer clients the best cloud experience for data warehouse and Business Intelligence/reporting solutions.
Design, implement, and test changes to the Data Warehouse model and ETL workflows.
Work with data ingestion and extraction pipelines.
Test and optimize processes and tools to meet performance and data quality requirements.
Leverage project experience to estimate and plan delivery of a small team.
Demonstrate growth as a subject matter expert (SME) for SimCorp products or technologies.
Participate in the company knowledge-sharing culture, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to the improvement or creation of implementation standards.
WHAT WE VALUE
Minimum 7 years of professional IT experience.
Hands-on experience with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
Understanding of database concepts and data modeling for analytics and reporting solutions.
Understanding of Data Warehouse and ETL/ELT concepts.
Experience with processing/migrating high volumes of data.
Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure data stack preferred)
SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
Experience implementing Business Intelligence (QlikView/QlikSense or Power BI).
Experience delivering project work (as a member of project teams organized in agile or waterfall methodologies).
Comfortable with business requirements gathering and clarification, including direct work with business users.
Ability to coordinate small projects, workstreams, or work groups as a lead consultant.
Experience working as a consultant for external clients (prior experience in Consulting Services).
Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
Nice to have
Basic knowledge of financial instruments and markets, or experience working with financial data and business processes related to investment management.
Familiarity with Ms Fabric
Python development skills focused on automation and data pipeline processing, including data manipulation frameworks such as Pandas.
Interest in developing your career as a consultant in the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence field for a top brand in the fintech sector.
