- Prepare recurring and ad hoc analysis that simplifies complex data and supports sales operations decision-making.
- Support maintaining dashboards and reporting outputs, including Power BI reporting where appropriate.
- Support data mapping, historical alignment, and testing activities for system or integration projects that affect commercial data.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve process efficiency using appropriate analytical and data tools.
- Document business rules, operating procedures, and key data dependencies to strengthen consistency and team resilience.
Requirements:
- Strong SAP experience, including the ability to execute transactions across master data, billing, and sales support processes, as well as creating SAP macros for batch processing.
- Analytical capability, with experience handling structured data in sales operations, data operations, business operations, or a similar function.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced working knowledge of Excel.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, data validation, and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with Amazon Redshift, Cognos, or similar data warehousing and reporting platforms.
- Experience using Python or similar scripting tools for data processing and automation.
- Experience developing or maintaining dashboards and reporting outputs using Power BI or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex data issues systematically.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across sales and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.
- Exposure to Salesforce.com and sales territory management concepts would be an advantage.
- Understanding commercial data structures, revenue assignment, or sales coverage models would be an advantage.
- Flexible to work in Shifts.
Success in the first 12 months:
- SAP-based processes are executed accurately and efficiently, with batch activities streamlined through effective macro creation and continuous process improvement.
- Territory and data changes are implemented accurately and within agreed service levels.
- Data quality issues are reduced through stronger validation, clearer ownership, and better root-cause fixes.
- Stakeholders receive more reliable dashboards, analysis, and operational support.
- Manual effort is reduced through process simplification and practical automation improvements.
Why this role matters:
