Your role and responsibilities :

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and need for specific features or products. Each day, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in Egypt. Main stakeholders are (consultants, design institutes, engineering/architect offices, authorities etc.), including e.g., technical presentation, demonstration, seminars and education material.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Implementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, educational material, and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group.
  • Creating plans for target audience visits and conducting regular status reviews, including analyzing and deriving the insights and output of the visits.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their needs and to ensure they are well-informed of the ABB product, systems, services offering, features, and benefits.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques.
Qualifications for the role :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a technical role in a company in a similar field or a consultancy firm and have experience in marketing or sales roles, knowledge of LV and MV products and systems.
  • Knowhow of the ABB Electrification product portfolio and the organization.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and familiarity with technical drawings, BIM knowledge.
  • Advanced level of English both verbally and in writing, Arabic language is a must.
  • Consultative problem solving, results oriented taking into account the solution selling principle and advantages, effective communication and presentation skills
  • Having a valid driving license, & flexibility in travelling within the country.
