The Role:

We're looking for a Head of People to lead and operationalize a growing, multi-faceted People function across multiple business lines. You'll report to the Chief Legal Officer and partner closely with the CEO and executive team. 

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role focused on operational excellence, consistency, and building the right level of structure as the company matures. You'll have ownership across all people programs and functions, and will be responsible for strengthening and formalizing existing processes while introducing the governance and decision-making frameworks needed to operate effectively at scale -- including areas such as total rewards, performance management, and hiring rigor. 

You'll be a trusted strategic partner to leadership and will play a key role in ensuring people programs are aligned to business strategy and drive high-performing teams and outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the full people function, spanning talent acquisition, HR operations, performance management, total rewards, and employee experience
  • Ensure people programs and systems run smoothly, consistently, and at a high standard across distinct business lines
  • Translate business goals into people programs including headcount plans, org design, and talent strategy in close partnership with the executive team and department heads
  • Oversee recruiting strategy across functions, maintaining hiring standards, interview quality, and candidate calibration
  • Build and maintain metrics and dashboards covering hiring, retention, performance, and engagement; report insights to leadership on a regular cadence
  • Own compensation programs , including philosophy, leveling frameworks, comp forecasting, ensuring pay is competitive, consistent, and tied to performance
  • Partner with the CLO and Legal on compliance, training, and best practices
  • Lead and develop a People team that can execute at the pace the business demands
  • Serve as a steward of company culture, ensuring it shows up in how we hire, develop, and retain people
  • Support targeted build-out of people systems and hiring for new business initiatives as needed 

Qualifications: 

  • 8-12+ years in People/ HR leadership with a track record in fast-paced, high-performance environments
  • Strong operator who can run established systems while identifying areas to align overall business strategy with people strategy
  • Deep experience across talent acquisition, org development, compensation, and HR operations
  • Strong operational instincts paired with the judgment to advise senior leadership
  • Experience managing and developing HR teams
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment
  • Experience supporting multiple business lines or business entities is a plus
  • Experience with Rippling is a plus
