Job Responsibilities:

The Materials Process & Flow Engineer will lead and oversee all Materials, Planning, and Logistics (MP&L) functions in support of Magna Steyr MESA operations by designing, implementing, and continuously improving robust, lean logistics processes that meet both internal production demands and external customer requirements. This role is responsible for building, developing, and leading a high‑performing MP&L organization across planning, warehousing, and transportation functions, while ensuring logistics operations are cost‑effective, compliant, reliable, and capable of supporting current production as well as future program launches.

Your Tasks

  • Material Control & Production Scheduling 

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.

  • Ensure timely, complete, and accurate delivery of materials and finished goods to support production and customer satisfaction. 

  • Warehousing & line side supply & Inventory Management 

  • Ensure that physical material movements are accurately and timely reflected in the ERP system SAP to maintain data integrity and support operational efficiency. 

  • Ensure accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and audits.  

  • Transport Logistics - Oversee inbound and outbound transportation activities, including carrier selection and performance.

  • Logistics Planning & Continuous Improvement - Define material flow, transport routes, and warehouse requirements for new operations.

  • Work cross functional with manufacturing engineering, procurement, quality, IT and the customer to align logistics plans with project timelines and technical requirements.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Logistics Supply Chain Management processes and planning

  • SAP and basic IT understanding and database knowledge

  • Fluent in English

  • Data accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Automative Manufacturing

  • Experience with system implementations or migrations

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Time Management & Organizational skills
