Details of the Division and Team:

Know Your Client (KYC) is responsible for ensuring client onboarding and ongoing expectations are in line with regulatory standards and jurisdictions. Work includes:

  • Analyzing information for close/open account determination

  • Taking appropriate corrective action through client contact to verify legitimate usage

  • Providing review and analysis of risky or exception conditions

  • Providing regular communication to senior bank stakeholders on changes in KYC, Anti Money Laundering (‘AML’) and Anti Financial Crime (AFC’) areas and ensures any changes required are implemented with minimum disruptions.

You can expect:

Your key responsibilities:

CAM

  • Review client documents and submit requests to offshore static team to update IDMS & Signet.

  • Handle inquiries from the Regulator and other bodies to screen the database to find possible matches.

  • Carry out ad hoc NLS checks on KYC process.

  • Update changes to the relevant DTPs in a timely manner

  • Handle the Inactive accounts review process

  • Providing the CAM MI update for KYC ops Lead Weekly.

  • Engage in UAT testing as and when required.

NCA/ NPEPR/ EDR:

  • Perform client/ACO outreach and timely follow up with the client/ACO to obtain requirements for offshore team to complete PR/EDR in a timely manner.

  • Carry out New Client Adoption/New Product Extension Review as per KYC policies.

  • Complete NCAs within the agreed timeline to enhance client centricity.

  • Ensure that all NCA/NPE files meet the agreed quality QA score of 90% or above.

Your skills and experience:

  • Thorough knowledge on KYC policies and guidelines 

  • Working knowledge of IDMS, Signet, dbCAR systems

  • Ability to read and grasp relevant knowledge independently

  • Knowledge of Regulatory guidelines relevant to area of work

  • Computer literacy – MS Packages and IT

  • Be a team player and work with the end goal in mind

  • Very good written and verbal communication skills

  • Be Client centric and service oriented

  • Good time management and interpersonal skills

  • Higher Diploma In Multimedia and Computer Studies
