About the role
The Salesforce Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and strategic goals. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to mentor a team of developers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain high standards of code quality and scalability.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other internal/external systems using APIs and various integration patterns.
- Manage the Salesforce development lifecycle, including release management, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce and integrated systems.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Salesforce platform.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development and implementation.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Lead or Senior Salesforce Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).
- Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and Web Components), and SOQL/SOSL.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk) and integration patterns.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development and custom UI solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and processes (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Copado).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer I/II).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a technical team.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
