Job Description:

Analyst – Legal Operations
Location: Bengaluru, India (supporting global markets)
Experience: 3-5 Years

About Legal Operations

Legal Operations is a rapidly evolving function that enables in-house legal teams to operate more efficiently, effectively, and at scale. Rather than providing legal advice, Legal Operations focuses on process excellence, technology enablement, data, and operational execution—allowing lawyers to concentrate on legal judgment and risk management.

At dentsu, Legal Operations plays a critical role in supporting large global in-house legal teams across multiple markets, driving consistency, compliance, adoption of legal technologies, and continuous improvement.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Legal Operations Analyst to join our global Legal Operations team. This role partners closely with in-house legal teams across regions to support non-legal operational activities, manage and optimize legal technology platforms, and ensure high-quality, scalable, and compliant legal operations.

This is a hands-on, problem-solving role suited for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of operations, technology, data, and process improvement. You will regularly encounter new scenarios and evolving requirements and will be expected to analyze issues, identify gaps, propose solutions, and work independently, while collaborating with global stakeholders and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SOP Ownership, Data Quality & Risk Management

• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks within tools, workflows, and processes
• Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Execute SOPs on a recurring basis to ensure:
o Data accuracy and completeness
o System reliability
o Compliance with internal standards and controls
• Continuously review and refine SOPs as tools, processes, and requirements evolve

2. Tool Administration & Access Management

• Act as an administrator for legal tools and platforms
• Manage user access provisioning, role assignments, and permissions across global markets
• Support onboarding and offboarding of users in line with internal access and data security policies
• Ensure systems are configured and maintained to support operational and
compliance requirements

3. Legal Operations & Business Support

• Act as an operational partner to global in-house legal teams, supporting non-legal activities such as:
o Third-party vendor invoicing through Coupa
o Processing Data Subject Rights Requests (DSARs) using OneTrust
o Preparing operational, compliance, and performance reports
• Support day-to-day legal operations while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and
consistency across markets

4. Reporting, Data & Automation

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for legal leadership and stakeholders
• Use advanced Excel skills to analyze data and generate actionable insights
• Support automation initiatives for repetitive or manual operational tasks
• Demonstrate interest in AI-driven and automation-led solutions, including:
o Workflow automation
o Prompt engineering
o Rule-based or agent-based operational automation

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a key point of contact with external vendors to:
o Raise and track issues
o Validate fixes and enhancements
o Support testing and rollout of improvements
• Collaborate with legal, technology, and operations stakeholders across regions and time zones
• Serve as a bridge between legal users, vendors, and internal teams

6. Legal Technology Assessment & Enablement

• Support the assessment, onboarding, and implementation of legal technology platforms
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors during tool rollouts and enhancements
• Assist with planning and executing adoption and change activities to ensure tools are effectively embedded into legal workflows

Key platforms currently supported include:
• LawVu – Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
• Harvey – Legal AI platform

7. Adoption, Training & Continuous Improvement

• Support legal teams in adopting new tools, features, and workflows
• Contribute to training materials, documentation, and enablement resources
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation
• Stay informed about platform enhancements, best practices, and emerging legal tech trends
