This position reports to:

Operations Manager

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Lead to implement and maintain company HSE management system to comply with ISO45001 & local safety standardization.
  • Identify, assess and implement the related HSE laws and regulations, and keep effective communication with government.
  • Facilitates HSE risk assessment conducted by the line management and ensures all necessary preventive measures against the identified hazards are implemented.
  • Provide analysis of HSE and Environmental related data. Report on the progress of key performance indicators (KPI) as required.
  • Organize and support the HSE incidents’ investigation with supported departments and reports to the management and relevant stakeholders and takes appropriate actions.
  • Assists the management team in understanding their obligations, liabilities, and requirements for role fulfillment, as per local HSE laws and group/business-specific requirements.
  • Organize and implement the annual HSE training & work plan.
  • Implement safety inspection/audit plan and make sure all findings can be timely closed, local supplier included.
  • Organize, implement and improve the emergency reaction plan.
  • Monitor and improve contractor safety management according to applicable HSE requirements.
  • Support the facility, special equipment and fire safety management of office building and test lab.


Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, Engineering related fields.
  • 8-10 years of HSE management experience in manufacturing or project site.
  • Good understanding on ISO14001 and ISO 45001 standard, methodology and tools.
  • Familiar with Chinese safety and environment laws and policies.
  • Familiar with electrical and machinery safety standards.
  • Certified Safety Engineer is preferred.
  • Good oral and written English ability.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
