Production Technician
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintains safety standards at all times, initiates and follows emergency procedures
- Monitors and operates facility equipment, including field equipment ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures to meet business targets
- Collects, validates and records accurate production data into the relevant data system
- Resolves problems encountered in keeping the area on target with team members
- Participates in Shift-to-Shift hand over to enable consistent communication across the shifts
- Performs equipment care utilizing appropriate policies, procedures and schedules
- Documents relevant troubleshooting information on production, equipment and system performance issues and applies Root Cause Analysis (RCA) accordingly
- Generates ‘Model Work Request’ for equipment repairs with all needed information
- Prepares equipment and work permits for maintenance activities
- Applies own competencies to capture and implement improvement ideas
Education and Experience
- Diploma/Bachelors/master's degree in agriculture or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
