Summary:
To be trained in part time/seasonal banquet operations at The Courses at Forest Park. As a banquet server you will help create memorable events,
ensuring guests attending weddings, galas, parties, & golf tournaments receive the highest quality service, all within beautiful Forest Park. Evening & weekend availability required.
On the job:
Participate in event setup & breakdown for both special events and daily operations.
Contribute to & maintaining overall cleanliness & presentation.
Greet guests upon arrival & assist in seating as required by group, ensuring a pleasant visit for each guest.
Serve food & beverage within a banquet event setting.
Ensure each guest is provided quality & exceptional service.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Excellent people and communication skills. Proven experience serving food & beverage in banquet functions; demonstrated outstanding customer service. Most possess willingness to learn and perform new banquet event programs and services. Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive, and motivation. Individual will be required to be flexible with scheduling, as evening and weekend work will be deemed required.
Language Skills:
Ability to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
