The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Channel Manager will be responsible for managing distributors, dealers, and direct key accounts, leading the sales channel team, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers. A key responsibility of this role is closely monitoring distributor performance by tracking sell-in, inventory levels, and sell-out. The Channel Manager will also maintain open and effective communication with support functions across Solventum.
As a Channel Manager Dental Solutions, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Perform regular visits and meetings with distributors, negotiating targets, monthly orders, and promotional activities.
Closely monitor targets and KPIs with all distributors to ensure performance and alignment.
Support distributors in launching new products, organizing related events, and executing sales strategies.
Coordinate customer support delivered through Marketing, Scientific Education, and Clinical Specialists.
Prepare quarterly business reviews with all distributors.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher AND five (5) years of sales experience in the healthcare industry (mandatory).
Experience managing distributors, retailers, and direct accounts (hospitals, clinics) is also mandatory.
5 years of working with distributors
2-3 years of experience with direct accounts (hospitals and clinics)
Preferible experience visiting doctors´offices
Fluent in English (mandatory).
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience in the dental industry is highly desirable.
Experience with key accounts is highly desirable.
Marketing experience is considered a plus.
Intermediate experience working with Excel (and MS Office), Power BI, and SAP.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong discipline in spending time in the field.
Team player.
Strong networking skills.
Work location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to domestic and international locations at least 3 days per week)
Travel: May include up to 40% domestic/international
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
