【ポジションの概要】

テクニカル/プロジェクトマネージャーは、幅広い一般産業用途における中規模から大規模プロジェクトの管理を担当します。部門横断的なプロジェクトチームを率いてろ過システムの設計・製造を行い、Pallの高品質なエンジニアリングソリューションをお客様に提供します。この職務には、顧客向けにオーダーメイドのソリューションを提供するためのエンジニアリング活動を行う責任も伴います。

このポジションは、エネジープラス・プログラムマネジメント・ジャパン部門の事業部長に直属し、Pallの日本プロジェクトをサポートするオンサイト勤務となります。

【Pallのソリューションについて】

クライアントの要求する仕様に基づいた精製装置をプロジェクトマネジメント手法を使って、法規・手順に則った装置を提供しています。主には、天然ガス精製装置、二酸化炭素吸着装置、化学工業におけるガス・液体の精製装置等をETO/EPC事業にてご活用いただいています。

【具体的な業務内容】

• 他サポートチームと連携し、プロジェクトスケジュールとアクションアイテムの進捗状況を管理する

• 顧客注文、製造、サプライヤーへの提出書類（図面、計算書、データシート、手順書など）の作成や確認を、必要に応じて（期限内、予算内、適切な品質で）行う

• 他エンジニアと協力し、社内外の文書や試験プロトコルで使用する製品機能に関する、完全かつ明確で簡潔な仕様書を作成・確認する

• 顧客、サプライヤー、およびPall社内の他グループとの技術的な説明会、トラブルシューティング、問題解決活動に参加し、責任を持って取り組む

• プロジェクトの開始段階（予算策定・見積もり、受注後の契約内容確認）から最終納品までをサポートする

• 顧客、社内エンジニアリングチーム、外部パートナーからの要件を正確に収集・理解し、翻訳・文書化された成果物にまとめる

• プロジェクトの進捗状況を可視化し、日々のプロジェクト管理活動を実施する

• 合意された納期、コスト目標、品質基準に従ってプロジェクトを納品する

【求めるスキル・知識・ご経験】

• 機械工学の修士号、または関連分野における高度な学習経験もしくは豊富な実務経験を有する機械工学の学士号

• スケジュール管理やアクションアイテムの追跡など、プロジェクト管理に関する経験

• ろ過装置および圧力容器製品の設計、または同等の業務において5年以上の経験

• 問題解決および継続的改善活動に関する知識と経験

【語学力】

• 英語：中級ビジネスレベル以上（海外組織とのコミュニケーション、海外の協力会社の進捗管理等のやり取り、スピーキングも含む）

• 日本語：ネイティブレベル

【出張】

• 有効な運転免許証と良好な運転記録が必要です

• 国内外への出張が可能なため、有効な運転免許証とパスポートが必須です

【あれば尚可／歓迎するスキル・知識・ご経験】

• メカニカルエンジニア経験

• 圧力容器の法規（JIS、JPI、ボイラー則、高圧ガス保安法、ASME、HPV、など）に従った設計経験

• 溶接に関するご経験

• 製缶検査に関するご経験

• E&I (電気計装）に関するご経験

【部門・チームについて】

エナジープラス事業部 プロジェクトマネジメント部に所属します。新エネルギーをはじめとする幅広い一般工業分野を対象とした顧客の特殊ニーズ（Engineering to order）にお応えしている事業部です。

新エネルギー分野では水素や二酸化炭素関連、その他にも再生プラスチック分野、EPC事業会社や主要な大手化学会社向けに、ご希望の仕様応じて提案、設計、納品までを行っています。主に担当指定していただく分野は半導体用薬品製造を含む半導体分野になります。

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing mid-to-large scale projects across a wide range of general industrial applications. You will lead cross-functional project teams to design and manufacture filtration systems, delivering Pall’s high-quality engineering solutions to customers. This role has the additional responsibility for performing engineering activities to deliver engineered to order solutions for customers

This position reports to the Division Manager - Energy+ Program Management Japan and is part of the Program Management team located in Pall Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and will be an on-site role supporting the Japanese projects for Pall .

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage project schedules and action item progress in collaboration with the engineering team
• Produce and check engineering documentation as required (on time, to budget and of suitable quality) to support requests for quote / customer orders / manufacturing and suppliers including drawings, calculations, data sheets and procedures.
• Preparation and checking of full, clear, and concise specifications for product function for use in internal and external documentation and testing protocols together with applications and commissioning engineers. ​
• Participate in and take ownership of technical clarification meetings, troubleshooting and problem solving activities with customers, suppliers and other groups within Pall.
• Support projects from initiation (budgeting and estimation phase, contract review upon order receipt) through final delivery
• Gather and accurately understand requirements from customers, internal engineering teams, and external partners, and consolidate them into translated and well-documented deliverables
• Visualize project status and conduct daily project management activities
• Deliver projects in accordance with agreed timelines, cost targets, and quality standards

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering from a technical college, university, or graduate
• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with advanced learning or extensive experience in a relevant discipline.
• Experience related to project management, such as schedule control and action item tracking
• Minimum 5 years' experience in design of filtration and pressure vessels products or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• English: business-level proficiency or above (including verbal communication with overseas organizations and coordination with international suppliers)
• Japanese: Native-level proficiency

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be willing to travel both within local country and abroad therefore a current driving license and passport are essential.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience as a mechanical engineer
• Design experience in compliance with pressure vessel codes and standards (ASME, HPV, JIS, JPI, etc.)
• Welding experience
• Experience with fabricated equipment inspection
