YOUR MISSION
We're looking for a passionate, proactive, and hands-on professional to be part of our Indirect Procurement department in our headquarters in Barcelona.
As a Senior Category Manager at Glovo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our indirect procurement strategy. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement processes, ensuring we get the best value for our investments while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant team and make a significant impact on our business.
THE JOURNEY
- Develop and implement category strategies that align with Glovo's overall business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and supplier innovation.
- Work closely with your internal stakeholders to define the strategy, find savings, and improve existing and new agreements.
- Find synergies between departments and lead projects to improve our vendor pool and performance
- Being flexible: this position is full of different challenges, projects, and stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience in procurement, category management, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and navigate a fast-paced environment.
- A strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel is a must.
- Fluency in English (C1) written and spoken is a must.
- Great appetite to learn and get your hands dirty.
