Business Unit
Technology Engineering Group (TEG) is responsible for supporting the company and its business groups on technology and operational platforms, as well as the construction and operation of R&D management and data centers, TEG provides users with a full range of customer services. As the operator of the largest networking, devices, and data center in Asia,TEG also leads the Tencent Technology Committee in strengthening infrastructure R&D through internal and distributed open source collaboration, constructing new platforms and supporting business innovation.What the Role Entails
1.Be responsible for the construction management of domestic and overseas data center projects of the company. Assist relevant teams in formulating plans, standards and management specifications for data center planning, site selection, construction and operation.
2.Collaborate with relevant teams to develop technical bidding and procurement documents for self‑built, jointly‑built and leased projects. Take overall responsibility for safety, quality and schedule during project construction. Coordinate internal and external resources of the company to ensure project delivery and handover to operation & maintenance as planned.
3.Quickly get familiar with the processes and user guidelines of various online management platforms of the department, and conduct relevant work via digital management systems.
4.Apply professional knowledge and industry experience to subsequent project construction management, and deliver valuable documents and solutions for the team.
5.Possess strong communication, planning and documentation capabilities. Accurately understand requirements from internal business teams and external partners, and coordinate role allocation and efficient collaboration among team members. Able to work under sustained high pressure and deliver industry‑leading project management and construction results.
Who We Look For
1.Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Electrical Engineering, HVAC or Automatic Control. Proficient in AutoCAD, Project, Visio, BIM and other engineering software. Fluent in oral English for daily work communication.
2.5–8 years of mechanical and electrical construction management experience in large‑scale IDC projects (single project area ≥10,000㎡). Prior experience in overseas IDC and computing infrastructure project construction is preferred.
3.Familiar with IDC architecture planning and design, and all functional subsystems of data centers. Well‑versed in solutions of chilled water systems, air‑cooling systems, immersion liquid cooling, back‑plate liquid cooling, as well as features and application scenarios of key equipment systems.
4.Knowledgeable about functions, performance, features and application scenarios of mainstream electrical, HVAC, weak‑current and fire‑fighting equipment in the market.
5.Solid professional knowledge of weak‑current control systems and fire‑fighting control systems, as well as control logic required for operational scenarios of various data center subsystems.
6.Upright, honest, responsible, accountable and self‑disciplined. Identify with Tencent’s corporate culture and values. Strong teamwork and communication skills, outstanding risk early‑warning capability and ability to handle emergencies.
