We're looking for an AI-Native Lead Quality Tester to help in setting the standard for quality across our digital products and AI-powered experiences. In this role, you'll combine hands-on testing expertise with leadership — guiding a team of testers, defining AI-augmented quality practices, and ensuring our public portals, internal applications, and AI agents are built to the highest standard. You'll be a key driver in our AI-first mission, shaping how quality is practiced across the entire Digital team.
We think you’ll be a good fit if you have:
- AI-augmented testing leadership: Proven ability to lead a testing team while actively integrating AI tools — such as Claude, Gemini, UiPath, and OutSystems Mentor — into the testing lifecycle to improve coverage, speed, and accuracy.
- Agile and agentic expertise: Deep experience with modern Agile methodologies, including hands-on experience testing AI agents and non-deterministic workflows.
- Analytical rigor: Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, no-silos mindset — with the ability to identify systemic risks and guide your team to resolve them before they reach production.
- Technical proficiency: Solid command of tools like Jira and Xray, combined with a functional understanding of how AI applies to QA workflows at scale. This includes hands-on experience with prompt engineering for software development and proficiency with AI-native IDEs or assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude) to streamline code analysis and test automation.
- Quality certifications: A QA or testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) is valued, particularly the Advanced Level Test Management and Certified Tester AI Testing (CT-AI) v2.0.
- Experience: At least 6 years in quality testing, with a minimum of 2 years in a lead or senior role, ideally within an engineering or technology-focused environment.
- Mentorship and team development: A track record of coaching and upskilling testers, fostering a culture of quality ownership, an AI mindset, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Continuous improvement drive A critical mindset that consistently challenges the status quo — asking why, and championing AI-driven solutions that make the whole team more effective.
In this role, you will:
- Lead a testing team from an operational point of view: Own the day-to-day direction of a team of testers — setting priorities, reviewing work, removing blockers, and actively developing each team member's skills and AI fluency.
- Help in defining AI-powered quality standards: Establish and evolve the team's testing practices, frameworks, and tooling — ensuring AI is embedded at every stage of the quality lifecycle, from story analysis to post-release monitoring.
- Orchestrate test strategy: Design and oversee test strategies that use AI to analyze user stories, AI-generated artifacts, and system behaviors — producing targeted, high-impact test coverage across the team.
- Drive quality intelligence: Build and maintain a quality intelligence ecosystem: Surface AI-driven insights for stakeholders, and lead efforts to proactively mitigate architectural and security risks.
- Champion shift-left testing: Embed early validation into the team's workflow — using AI-powered tools to catch issues in functionality, usability, and performance during the design phase, not after.
- Collaborate across the organization: Act as the primary quality partner for TechOps, Digital Transformation, Cloud, Engineering, Service Delivery, and Business teams — aligning on standards and ensuring quality is co-created and not only the quality team's responsibility.
