To achieve our mission, we are looking for bar-raisers with a hands-on mindset who are eager to help shape the future of entertainment!

Ready to be part of the experience?

Now, let’s discuss this role and what you will do to help achieve Fever’s mission.

Meet the Team

The Marketing & Growth team is one of the largest and most dynamic at Fever, playing a central role in driving visibility, engagement, and business impact across the company. We work closely with nearly every department, combining strategy, creativity, and data to connect millions of people with unforgettable experiences.

Join us if you want to drive global impact, master data-driven creativity, and help millions of people discover their next unforgettable experience.

The Role

As our newest Media Buying Manager (based in Melbourne), you will plan and execute global event media strategies in Australia and the APAC region to drive attendance, revenue, and brand impact through traditional marketing channels.

This is the first media buying role in APAC, giving someone the opportunity to build and lead our regional media buying team at HQ.

What You'll Do

  • Architect & run media plans for events worldwide (pre-launch, launch, post-event) to hit ticket/attendance and ROI targets.
  • Source & grow high-value partnerships with media outlets and event-friendly channels across regions.
  • Own activations end-to-end: negotiate commercials, oversee technical integrations, and optimize in-flight.
  • Manage budgets with rigorous pacing and ROI discipline; report on spend vs. outcomes by event/market.
  • Spin up playbooks for localization, last-mile promotion near venues, and rapid geo-expansion.
  • Build reporting (dashboards & post-mortems) tying media to attendance, CPA per attendee, and revenue lift.
  • Project manage multiple concurrent events to on-time, high-quality delivery.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years in traditional media (OOH, TV, Radio), ideally with event or time-bound campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s preferably in a Marketing/Communications related field.
  • Strong English; a second language (Spanish/Korean/Japanese/Hindi/Mandarin/Cantonese) is a plus.
  • Proven media planning and buying across non-Meta/Google channels; stays ahead of an evolving landscape.
  • Dynamic, proactive, solution-focused; calm under tight deadlines.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Attractive compensation package with room to grow.
  • 40% discount on all Fever events and experiences + free Candlelight voucher.
  • Superannuation: We invest in your future. Fever contributes 12% of your gross salary to your Super, ensuring your long-term savings grow alongside your career.
  • Private health insurance with GU Health paid by Fever up to 2750 AUD for the annual premium.
  • ClassPass membership for gym and wellness access: paid by Fever up to 39 credits per month.
  • Language learning support: English and Spanish lessons.
  • Hybrid work setup: home office friendly with a central Melbourne office location.
  • Dynamic international team: a young, talented group creating a great work environment.
