Role Overview
 
As a Talent Solutions Analyst Intern, you will collect, analyze, and interperate Talent Acquisition and Talent Management data while supporting key initiatives such as performance management, employee surveys, and engagement projects. Your work will impact how the Talent Solutions team makes data‑driven decisions, enabling clearer insights into recruitment effectiveness, onboarding quality, and overall talent strategy. Your support will result in streamlined reporting within the Greenhouse ATS, stronger cross‑functional collaboration, and improved talent programs that help the organization attract, develop, and retain top talent.

The Analyst

  • Assist in collecting, analyzing and interpreting recruitment, onboarding, assessment and performance data to support decision-making processes.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards and metrics.
  • Conduct research on HR trends, best practices and benchmarking data.

The Project Support Specialist

  • Support the Talent Solutions team in various projects, including employee surveys, performance management initiatives, and talent engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze data as needed.
  • Participate in Talent Solutions meetings and contribute to discussions on data-driven strategies.

The Collaborator

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organization.
  • Generate project metrics and status reports to provide visibility into project progress.
  • Continuously measure project performance and communicate key issues to leadership.

  • Your insights will help Talent Solutions team make data driven decisions that can enhance Talent Acquisition strategies, associate onboarding, and Talent Management.
  • Your research on Talent trends and best practices will provide valuable insights that can shape Cortland’s Talent Solutions strategies and policies.
  • Your work on detailed and accurate reports and dashboards will streamline processes, making it easier for Talent Solutions team to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Demonstrated passion and ownership in delivering excellent work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Acts with honesty, ethics and transparency, especially when dealing with confidential information.
  • Prior experience or coursework in HR Analytics is a plus.
