Location: based in the territory this role will work 80% in the field and 20% in the office

Contract: Fulltime / permanent

The Opportunity

Join CSL Behring's Medical Affairs organization as a Medical Science Liaison supporting our Immunoglobulin (IG) and Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) therapeutic areas. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen CSL Behring's scientific engagement with the medical community through high‑quality education, meaningful peer‑to‑peer scientific exchange, and strong collaborations with key opinion leaders.

In this position, you will contribute to advancing innovative treatment approaches across IG and HAE, support the appropriate and evidence‑based use of established and emerging therapies, and help address unmet medical needs in immunology and rare diseases. By acting as a trusted scientific partner to external experts and internal stakeholders, you will play a critical role in translating evolving scientific knowledge into insights that shape medical strategy and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

The Role

  • Acquire and maintain advanced clinical‑scientific expertise in Immunoglobulin (IG) and/or Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) disease areas related to CSL Behring's products; maintain foundational knowledge of the broader CSL Behring portfolio
  • Accurately and compliantly interpret and disseminate balanced, factual scientific, clinical, and health‑economic data related to IG and HAE
  • Continuously evaluate emerging scientific data, guidelines, and treatment landscapes relevant to IG and HAE
  • Identify, engage, and develop professional scientific relationships with appropriate regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) within the IG and HAE communities
  • Respond to unsolicited requests with high‑level information regarding CSL Behring's Investigator‑Initiated Study (IIS) processes and monitor progress for approved IG and/or HAE studies
  • Gather, translate, and communicate actionable, strategy‑aligned insights from scientific discussions, educational programs, and congresses related to IG and HAE
  • Deliver approved educational programs to external healthcare audiences (e.g., HCPs, Managed Care Organizations, Specialty Pharmacies) supporting IG and HAE therapies
  • Attend and contribute to regional, national, and international scientific and medical meetings focused on immunology, rare diseases, and HAE
  • Provide approved medical education and scientific training to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Support and deliver special medical projects as required

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in nursing, pharmacy, or an advanced degree in science or medicine required, MD, PhD or PharmD preferred
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
  • Previous experience as an MSL supporting products in specific therapeutic areas is desirable.
  • Prior experience providing MSL‑level support within IG, immunology, rare diseases, and/or HAE strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with national medical legislation and international exposure would be advantageous.
