The Role:
A forklift driver is responsible for the physical and electronic case movement within the four walls of the fulfillment center.
What You’ll Do:
Move cases physically and electronically as required for fulfillment and general movement in facility.
Able to operate an RF gun.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Operate power equipment: ride behind jack, sit down reach truck, or High Reach truck.
Notify supervisor immediately when encountering any issues.
Always maintain proper safety procedures, including proper lifting and reporting any incidents and accidents within 24 hours.
Able to meet accuracy goal(s).
Able to meet productivity goals.
Assist in other departments when necessary.
Who You Are:
You possess basic computer skills
Ability to read and write English
Ability to count accurately
You possess strong interpersonal skills
You can work independently and collaboratively
You are a self-starter
High school graduate/GED
Driver’s License
What You’ve Done:
- 1 Year Experience driving forklift, turret truck, cherry picker.
Nice to Haves
- Previous forklift certification or hold current forklift certification.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
Able to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).
Able to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs. on occasion (document boxes, files, binders, and other items)
Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
Able to work overtime
Periodic exposure to heavy machinery/equipment and changing environmental conditions
