Role Summary and Impact
We are looking for a Senior Marketing & Events Manager who will play a key role in shaping and executing our marketing agenda, with a strong focus on proprietary events and business development support.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this role combines strategic contribution and hands-on execution, with high exposure to senior stakeholders and direct impact on brand positioning and growth.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Marketing Director in defining and executing the Marketing strategy and annual marketing plan
- Contribute to address communication strategies by identifying trends, key narratives and opportunities to strengthen market positioning
- Act as a key interface with global stakeholders (e.g. WPP Media Global Marketing), ensuring alignment and active participation in our international meetings and events
- Contribute to competitive and market analysis to inform marketing and business decisions and go-to-market proposition materials/documentation
Marketing & Events Execution
- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on proprietary events
- Own the full lifecycle of events: from concept development to execution (format design, content, logistics, venue sourcing, vendor coordination and digital setup)
- Design and deliver high-impact experiences ranging from exclusive C-level formats (roundtables, executive dinners, private workshops) to large-scale events (500+ attendees)
- Oversee agencies and partners, ensuring budget control, negotiation effectiveness and high-quality delivery
Business & Clients Support
- Partner with Client Lead teams to support new business initiatives, contributing to the development of insight-led documents and presentations
- Support go-to-market activities, including the creation of strategic materials and positioning assets
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Marketing & Communications, with strong expertise in event strategy and execution
- Proven experience in Corporate Communications departments e/o PR agency is a plus
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management, with confidence interacting with senior leadership and international teams
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects in fast-paced environments, ensuring quality and deadlines
- Strong business mindset, with experience supporting commercial and new business activities
- Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented approach
- Highly collaborative, with strong team-working skills
- Digital savvy, with solid proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
