THE JOB:
The Table Games Dealer Trainee Program at MGM Springfield offers a valuable opportunity to learn dealer gaming skills from a leading entertainment and gaming company, with the potential for a future position as a Table Games Dealer. Trainees will focus on mastering the art of dealing games while providing exceptional guest service, all while adhering to relevant legal regulations and company policies.
ABOUT THE TRAINING PROGRAM
Program dates: June 1st - August 7th, 2026
- 10 - Week program
- Monday - Friday 11 AM - 5 PM
- You will learn three table games: Blackjack, Baccarat and Carnival
- MGM Resorts Service Training
THE STARTING RATE: $15.00 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Ensure that all activities will reflect the policies, philosophies, and regulations of MGM and local Gaming Control Board.
- Perform act of dealing several game types; including Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps and Specialty Games (Poker).
- Protect, control, and verify the accuracy of fills, credits, openers/closers, and marker transactions; accurately exchanges cash or markers for chips.
- Communicate verbally with supervisors or Table Games Managers of unnatural or irregular play and disputes on the game.
- Notify supervisor immediately of all mistakes or claims and make resolution only at the direction of the supervisor.
- Verbalize player instructions, card totals, results or any other information as required in the procedures of each game.
- Assume duties of dealing other licensed games as needed within the Game Type definition and within the Dealer I Classification guidelines.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to.
- Notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Has high school diploma or GED
Must be18 years of age
Ability to pass a basic math test.
Ability to attend all training classes
If placed into a Dealer role, ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$15.00This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
