About the role

The Relationship Associate is an entry-to-intermediate level position responsible for supporting senior bankers in managing client relationships, executing transactions, and delivering a broad range of banking solutions. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to client coverage, assist in deal execution, and support revenue generation while maintaining strong credit discipline.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of a portfolio of corporate clients, with the objective of delivering revenue growth while maintaining sound credit quality in line with Citi’s policies and standards
  • Assist in identifying client needs and work with product partners to deliver solutions across financing, cash management, foreign exchange, and other banking products
  • Partner with Relationship Managers and product specialists to support cross-selling of Citi’s capabilities, including loans, trade finance, cash management, and capital markets solutions
  • Prepare materials for client meetings, pitches, and internal approvals, including financial analysis and credit-related documentation
  • Support credit processes, including financial analysis, preparation of credit memo, periodic reviews, and monitoring of portfolio performance
  • Conduct industry and client research to support relationship planning and business development efforts
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements, escalating issues where appropriate and maintaining strong risk awareness


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with understanding of corporate finance and credit fundamentals
  • Familiarity with corporate banking products, including lending, cash management, and trade finance
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and support senior stakeholders
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
