This role is ideal for a Mid-Level Licensed Interior Designer possessing a strong creative vision with strategic thinking and a passion for shaping meaningful, high-performing environments.
Your Role
Our San Francisco office has a thriving interiors practice providing innovative solutions for a variety of projects, including workplace, amenities, and laboratory spaces, aviation, technology, and higher education. Through our integrated inside-out design approach, we impact both the people working in our buildings and the surrounding community with our inspirational and thought-leading design solutions.
What You Will Do
- Lead the creative efforts on interiors projects, developing overall design concepts and design presentation strategies
- Mentor and provide creative direction to design teams
- Act as the primary design interface with clients and consultants
- Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy
- Participate in business development and marketing efforts
- Selecting interior finishes, furniture and equipment
- Producing space plans, furniture plans, elevations, conceptual and finished design presentation documentation
- Provide solutions to design problems and generate design alternatives
- Review drawings, mockups, materials, and finish samples submitted by project contractors
Your Qualifications
- 6+ years of interior design experience in an architecture or design firm
- NCIDQ Certification is required
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field from an accredited school
- Knowledge of sustainable and universal design concepts. Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, 3D, Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, and other modeling software programs
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
- Strong graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
This is not a remote role; we look forward to working with our new Interior Designers in our incredible San Francisco, CA. office.
**The base salary will be estimated between $103K to 125K plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
