About the role
SOAR Program Ambassadors serve as peer mentors, guides, and facilitators for high school scholars participating in the SOAR program. Ambassadors provide chaperoning and youth protection oversight from 8:30 AM–4:30 PM throughout the program, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. In this role, ambassadors have the unique opportunity to engage directly with leading experts in biomedicine, gaining exposure to cutting-edge research and career pathways. They also offer mentorship to students on the college application process, navigating STEM majors, and exploring careers in biomedicine. This position is ideal for enthusiastic, responsible individuals passionate about inspiring the next generation of biomedical leaders.
Undergrad student wage position for 40 hours per week from June 22nd to July 3rd.
Compensation: $16/Hour.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
