Job Summary
Guide perfumers with developing, evaluating, and adjusting both new and existing fragrances. Develop and evaluate fragrances that meet organization standards and customer needs. Analyze current fragrance trends and evaluates products of competitors. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to assess consumer preferences and customer requirements. Maintain full awareness and comply with regulations associated with fragrance development.Responsible for training, coaching and supervising a team. Provide sensory analysis for finished products and raw materials as well as support Product Safety programs within the operations department.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of Industry & Regulation
- English fluency to interact with other IFF affiliate sites.
- Proficient in SAP, IFFMAN, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes
- Solid Experience in a creative or quality laboratory.
- Can pass a color blind test.
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately describe sensory characteristics of all raw materials & most finished products
Quality Best Practice
- Master of sensory evaluation & discriminate sensory quality for all RM & finished products
- Master knowledge of production process in this industry
- Outstanding with the specialized set of organoleptic skills
- Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
- Lead and direct the sensory evaluation team’s development efforts to become more proficient in sensory evaluation
Project Management Skill
- Regression and acceptance testing cycle experience
- Skillful in Project Management
- Knowledge of Financial analysis, legal framework and business drivers.
- Deep understand project people Management knowledge.
Supply Chain Management
- Solid Knowledge on the whole flow of the supply chain management.
- Understand the critical control point.

- Ability to lead teams & work in diverse groups of people & roles.
