Location: Pune, MH

Experience: 8–15 years of experience in software quality engineering

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced QA Lead with a strong foundation in test automation, proven team leadership abilities, and deep hands-on expertise in testing web applications. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring ownership of quality strategy, automation initiatives, team mentoring, and active participation in manual and automated testing efforts to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and automation testers
  • Define and drive overall QA strategy, test plans, and quality standards
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web and API testing
  • Actively contribute to hands-on manual and automated testing as required
  • Review requirements, user stories, and technical designs to identify risks and test coverage early
  • Ensure comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC
  • Track and report QA metrics such as defect trends, test coverage, and release readiness
  • Support production releases, root cause analysis, and post-release quality improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 8–15 years of experience in software testing with strong focus on web applications
  • Proven experience in a QA Lead or Test Lead role with team management responsibilities
  • Strong expertise in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and test design techniques
  • Experience with defect management, test planning, and release sign-off
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
