What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
This role is a delivery-aligned role focusing on enabling effective team execution and predictable outcomes, including:
Own and maintain the team backlog, ensuring work items are structured, prioritized, and continuously refined.
Ensure Features and Stories have sufficient clarity for implementation (problem/context, acceptance criteria, dependencies, constraints).
Drive backlog hygiene and traceability so work remains visible, current, and actionable.
Lead and/or coordinate backlog refinement to prepare work for upcoming sprints.
During sprint planning, present the highest-priority work and facilitate the conversation so the team can make realistic commitments based on capacity.
Provide ongoing clarification during execution to keep delivery unblocked and aligned to intended outcomes.
Act as the team’s primary day-to-day interface for stakeholders, ensuring the team plan remains aligned to stakeholder needs and inter-team dependencies.
Coordinate priority conflicts and dependency impacts with peer teams (and escalate where needed) to preserve flow and delivery confidence.
Be accountable for Story acceptance, confirming work meets acceptance criteria, aligns to Definition of Done, and is suitable for release/use.
Ensure validation evidence is captured appropriately (tests, demos, notes, acceptance outcome) to avoid “nearly done” carryover.
Maintain delivery visibility by keeping planned work accurately represented.
Maintain key working relationships with the delivery team, product and program leadership, and stakeholders.
Top Candidates Will Have:
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, and major issues; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Application Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the Terrain for Grading and Loading solution, with an understanding of mining operational workflows, constraints, and challenges.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Software Development Lifecycle: Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace.

Defines responses for non-standard or unsupported change requests.
Contributes to the design and development of request process flow and templates.
Clarifies description, components affected, need, cost estimate, risk, resources, status.
Manages all aspects of the change request process.
Researches new tools and techniques for monitoring product efficacy.
Software Engineering (Level: Working Knowledge)
Identifies considerations for product integration with multiple platforms and systems.
Works with development or delivery of a software package or component.
Describes phases, activities, deliverables and processes for a specific methodology.
Works with structured documents for developing features, functions, plans and schedules.
Describes software design practices, technologies, and considerations.
Software Product Business Knowledge (Level: Extensive Experience)
Collects, documents, and maintains product functional requirements; makes recommendations.
Maintains and disseminates information on customer use and experiences.
Has knowledge of all advanced business features and functions of the products.
Relates experiences with unusual or non-traditional uses; assesses opportunities and challenges.
Software Product Management (Level: Extensive Experience)
Has experience with multiple products or multiple releases of a critical product.
Describes the purpose of and a methodology for a product usability analysis.
Manages conflicts between business units, sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
Participates in defining, estimating and pricing special enhancement requests.
Gathers, summarizes and prioritizes ideas for new products, or new versions of existing products.
Software Product Technical Knowledge (Level: Extensive Experience)
Has knowledge of all technical and infrastructure components of the software product.
Maintains and disseminates information on customer platforms and experiences.
Collects, documents and maintains product configuration requirements and instances.
Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.
Elaborates on alternative product configurations, platforms, and implementation options.
