What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is building the next generation unified, AI-driven platform. The goal is to leverage artificial intelligence to consolidate all automation and orchestration functions onto a single platform, eliminating redundancy and streamlining operations.

Key Objectives:

• Autonomous Operations: Use AI agents to automate network deployments, health checks, configuration audits, and service assurance.

• Machine-readable Method of Procedures: Transform static procedure documents into an executable format that AI agents can directly process and act on.

• Unified Automation: Consolidate all network procedures and workflows into a single, cohesive system, making the entire network more intelligent and resilient.

• Predictive Root Cause Analysis: Leveraging Graph DBs and advanced AI models, the system will proactively identify and fix issues, minimizing outages.

• Forecast the network capacity: Use ML Models to train on historical network data and forecast capacity at NF, Compute, and Transport layers.

Core Responsibilities:

• Engage as a cloud implementation subject matter expert with deep knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure, application development platforms, tools, and techniques.

• Provide technical leadership to both onshore and offshore development teams.

• Perform full-cycle application development including design, coding, and testing by leveraging AI tools.

• Collaborate with quality assurance and production support teams to ensure systems operate at premium conditions.

You’ll need to have:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or four or more years of work experience.

• Experience: Six or more years of relevant work experience.

• Cloud Expertise: Full Stack Developer experience in developing and deploying applications.

• Tool Set: Proficiency with Python, Ansible, NodeJS, Fast API, Django, Flask, Fastify, Temporal engine

• Databases: Experience with Postgres SQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, Graph DB

• AI: Hands-on experience with Agentic AI using frameworks like LangChain, Langgraph, Langflow, MCP Servers. Experience with LLM prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and vector databases.
   

• Methodology: Experience practicing Agile development methodology.

Even better if you have:

• Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Leadership: Eight or more years of experience in a lead role developing large-scale enterprise systems with a proven record of solving complex problems.

• Certifications: Agentic AI, Machine Learning, 

• Domain Knowledge: Experience developing automation, orchestration in telecom domain. with understanding of network management functions supporting wireless (5G) and wireline networks.

• Telecom/Networking: Experience with telecom daSoftware Defined Networking (SDN), experience interfacing with switches/routers using CLI, NETCONF, gRPC protocols.

• Cloud Infrastructure. Experience with Dockers and Kubernetes
