At Gram, everyone is expected to have a razor-sharp focus on creating a tangible impact on their team, their work environment, and on the overall company strategy. If you are motivated by autonomy, constant improvement, collaboration, and a sense of belonging, this is the place for you.

Internship Type: Undergraduate student, studying a sandwich degree that supports a placement year

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Art Intern who is passionate about honing their craft and growing their skills. By joining Gram Games, you’ll develop your skills alongside some of the most talented minds in mobile gaming. Throughout this internship, you will gain deep industry knowledge and contribute directly to the production of our titles.

At Gram, our interns are integral members of the team. We’re seeking someone driven, proactive, and unafraid to take initiative. We expect our interns to leave a lasting mark on both our studio and our games, and we look for teammates who embody flexibility, independence, and a restless curiosity to find creative answers.

At Gram we embrace a hybrid work environment. Within this role, you would work 2 days per week in our London office and the remaining days at home.

  • Style Adaptation: Quickly and consistently adapt existing game art styles into new LiveOps materials.
  • File Management: Maintain well-organized, layered source files (PSD/Figma) for efficient team collaboration.
  • Pipeline Mastery: Learn and navigate the production pipelines of a live, large-scale mobile gaming environment.
  • Collaborative Feedback: Actively participate in art reviews, applying and providing constructive feedback to maintain high visual standards.

What You Bring:

  • You are an undergraduate student currently enrolled in a sandwich degree that supports a placement year.
  • You are studying Game Art, Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, or a related creative field.
  • A solid understanding of composition, colour theory, typography, and layout.
  • Practical knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Figma or Miro.
  • A genuine interest and curiosity in AI-assisted art production workflows.
  • The ability to work at pace, iterate quickly, and strictly follow an established art style.

What We Offer You:

  • A paid internship with a competitive salary.
  • Genuine production experience on a live, global mobile game.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven art workflows and industry-standard pipelines.
  • Direct guidance from our experienced Game Artists and Art Director.
  • The opportunity to build a strong portfolio featuring shipped LiveOps content.
  • An awesome onsite chef serving breakfast, lunch, and a variety of treats (naughty and nice!).
  • Private medical and dental care, a healthcare cash plan and life insurance.
  • A favourable pension scheme to get you started.
