More about the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Marketplace team as an intern in Eindhoven, working on some of Europe's most prominent digital retail platforms - including Amazon EU, Bol.com, and MediaMarkt/Saturn - across key markets such as the Netherlands, Germany, France, the UK, and Southern Europe.

You will work across our consumer brands - Philips Hue, WiZ, and Philips general lighting - collaborating daily with a cross-functional team of marketplace, marketing, and commercial specialists to help drive our online retail performance across the region.

The key responsibilities involve:

  • Managing and optimizing product listings across Amazon EU, Bol.com, and MediaMarkt/Saturn, ensuring content quality, SEO performance, and local market compliance

  • Supporting the localization of product pages for multiple European markets, adapting content for language, regulation, and consumer relevance

  • Conducting structured pricing and competitor analysis across platforms and markets, translating findings into clear recommendations

  • Assisting with the preparation and execution of product launches for Philips Hue, WiZ, and Philips lighting across marketplace channels

  • Building and maintaining performance reports and dashboards to track key metrics such as traffic, conversion, and Buy Box share

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • Studying Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and research skills, with hands-on confidence in Excel or Google Sheets

  • A genuine interest in eCommerce, digital retail, and international business

  • Familiarity with marketplace platforms such as Amazon, Bol.com, or MediaMarkt/Saturn is a real advantage

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across teams and cultures

  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus

What you’ll get in return…

  • Continuous mentoring and feedback throughout your internship.

  • Internship allowance; the exact amount depends on your situation (also towards rented accommodation or public transportation).

  • Paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.

  • Extensive set of tools to drive your career, such as a personalized learning platform.

  • Opportunity to purchase products in the staff shop at reduced prices.

  • We’re offering multiple opportunities for career development, like mentoring, coaching and stretch assignments, with strong international exposure for dynamic profiles. Learning is fundamental to our culture. Through continuous learning, we are transforming the industry. You have the chance to learn every day, acquire new skills and perspectives through customized online programs, and on-the-job experiences.

  • As an intern, you will be part of the intern program in the Netherlands, consisting of several events, trainings and networking opportunities with your peer students. Join us and shine brighter together!

Notes

  • EU students: To be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of this may be requested at any time.

  • Non-EU students in Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student, and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn). In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university in which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are, and what tasks you will undertake during your internship.
