Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation and evaluation of new product concepts to support innovation and market competitiveness.

  • Lead and contribute to the assessment and selection of appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes.

  • Develop precise 3D models and produce high-quality engineering drawings in accordance with design standards.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve design, tooling, and production issues to ensure efficient product development and manufacturing.

  • Plan and execute testing activities, and perform detailed analyses to enhance design integrity and ensure product reliability.

  • Conduct research and evaluations of emerging materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes to continuously improve product performance and development efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong interest in mechanical engineering within the networking and technology industry.

  • Demonstrated creative thinking and the ability to approach problems with innovative, “out-of-the-box” solutions.

  • Highly self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new knowledge and technologies.

  • Solid understanding of basic mechanics, material science, and manufacturing principles.

  • High-volume product experience strong root-cause analysis capabilities and effective problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.

  • Proficient in English with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication abilities.

Technical Requirements

  • Proficient in 3D CAD tools (Solidworks preferred).

  • Great ability to solve problems with statistical tools.

  • Experience in cellular, outdoor, and industrial product design.

  • Familiarity with the regulations and standards of industrial electrical products.

Highly Desired Attributes (Strong Plus)

  • Experience designing structures for cellular/wireless devices (e.g., 4G/5G modules, routers) and understanding the impact on RF performance.

  • Previous experience in structural design for Automotive or Outdoor/Industrial applications.

  • Working knowledge of IP-rated (e.g., IP66/IP67) waterproof and dustproof structural design principles.

  • Experience with mechanical design and integration of camera products.

  • Familiarity with Automotive Grade or high-reliability standards (e.g., ISO 16750, SAE J1455) or testing requirements for electronic devices.
