This role will be part of our Hong Kong Finance team supporting Asia Pacific entities. You will lead Record-to-Report (R2R) activities for one or more entities supported by the Hong Kong Finance Center.

What You Will Do

  • Lead accounting and financial reporting activities for assigned entities, ensuring 100% accurate and timely monthly close and reporting submissions
  • Oversee month-end close processes, deliver complete financial statements to corporate deadlines, and resolve variances within defined timelines
  • Develop and document accounting positions for complex transactions and drive successful approvals with regional and corporate finance stakeholders
  • Strengthen internal control frameworks by identifying gaps, implementing improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Partner with business leaders and shared service teams to resolve accounting issues and deliver practical, data-driven solutions
  • Drive process standardization and automation initiatives, reducing manual effort and improving reporting cycle efficiency
  • Lead or support finance initiatives and cross-functional projects aligned to business priorities and global finance transformation goals
  • Manage, allocate, and monitor team deliverables across 2–4 direct reports to ensure consistent quality, timeliness, and accountability

                                                         

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 6 years of accounting and/or audit experience
  • Team lead/ People management experience
  • Experience in financial reporting and internal controls within a multinational environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with US GAAP and SOX compliance
  • Experience with enterprise finance systems such as Hyperion Financial Management or JD Edwards
  • Experience with automation tools

Travel Percentage: 10%
