As Director of Business Development, you will be a leader within the Customer facing Organisation to coach, support, and drive high performing culture to identify and win new businesses with assigned clients.  Collaborate and deploy strategies with Business Units and Product Lines to win new client opportunities.

Summary of Role:
As Director of Business Development, you will be a leader within the Customer facing Organisation to coach, support, and drive high performing culture to identify and win new businesses with assigned clients.  Collaborate and deploy strategies with Business Units and Product Lines to win new client opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities:

Grow MIPS’ Business Development Aerospace & Defense and Robotics customer base
Grow & lead a team of Business Development & Field Application Engineers
Responsibility MIPS’ complete IP, Software and Custom Silicon portfolio
Negotiate business agreements at the executive level
Represent MIPS on trade shows & industry conferences

Required Qualifications:

Education – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 15 years experience in a customer facing role in the semiconductor industry.  
Experience - Minimum 15 Years in a Business Development or Sales role in the Semiconductor Industry. Proven track record managing field teams successfully for at least 10 years.
Skills: Strategic Account Management, Negotiation, managing worldwide flex teams.
Travel - Up to 50%
Fluency in English Language – written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven track record across a diverse customer base spanning different end equipments.
Additional experience with US Automotive OEMs & Tier 1s is a plus.
Knowledge about semiconductor manufacturing and design processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning & organizational skills.

Expected Salary Range

$193,000.00 - $319,000.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
