We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Supervisor to join our Client Services team in Toronto. This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of our agency — bridging client relationships, creative thinking, and flawless execution.
What makes this role unique? You'll have the exciting opportunity to work across two distinct client portfolios — one in the Financial Services sector and one in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) space. This dual-category exposure means no two days will look the same, and you'll be building a diverse, highly marketable skill set that spans two of the most dynamic industries in marketing today.
What You'll Do
Client Leadership
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for both your Financial Services and CPG clients, building trusted, long-term partnerships.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow client business, bringing forward new ideas, solutions, and strategic recommendations.
- Navigate the distinct needs, compliance requirements, and cultural nuances of both the financial services and CPG categories with confidence and agility.
- Lead client status meetings, presentations, and reviews, ensuring clear and consistent communication at all times.
Project & Campaign Management
- Oversee the end-to-end management of integrated campaigns — from brief to delivery — ensuring work is on time, on budget, and on strategy.
- Partner closely with creative, strategy, production, and media teams to ensure seamless collaboration and exceptional output.
- Manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Mitigate risks proactively, flagging issues early and proposing solutions before they become problems.
Strategic Thinking
- Contribute to the development of strategic briefs and campaign frameworks that inspire great creative work.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights relevant to both financial services and CPG categories.
- Support senior leadership in developing growth plans, proposals, and new business materials.
Team Development
- Mentor and guide junior account team members, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and excellence.
- Model a collaborative and positive working style that sets the tone for the broader team.
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of experience in account management within an agency environment, ideally with some exposure to regulated categories (financial services experience is a strong asset) and/or CPG/FMCG brands.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients or workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ball.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing — from brand and content to digital, social, and production.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills — you can distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives for clients and internal teams alike.
- A strategic mindset paired with a detail-oriented, executional drive — you can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in when precision matters.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong client relationships, earning trust through responsiveness, expertise, and sound judgment.
- A collaborative, solutions-first attitude with a healthy appetite for challenge and change.
The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between the values at the bottom of this posting. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
