This team will play a crucial role in enabling the ongoing transformation of our agencies and functions.

As Regional Technology Operations Director - Americas, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our technology across your region. You will lead the delivery of comprehensive end-user support, overseeing agile teams that provide exceptional service and innovative solutions. Your strategic leadership will be essential in driving operational excellence, enhancing user productivity, and contributing to WPP's broader Enterprise Technology transformation.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and execute a regional ET operations strategy aligned with WPP's overarching Technology Operations and ET strategy.
Partner with the Deputy CIO, Cluster Technology Operations Directors, and the broader Tech Ops management team to translate business priorities into actionable ET initiatives.
Identify and champion technology opportunities to optimize business processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation within the region.
Manage the regional Tech Ops budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee the day-to-day technology operations within the region, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional end-user support through deskside support teams.
Effectively balance the demands and priorities of various clusters with available resources across regional teams.
Deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality technology operations services, ensuring all services meet or exceed defined SLAs and performance targets.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality and reduce costs.
Lead and inspire a high-performing team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
Develop team members' technical skills and leadership capabilities through mentorship and coaching.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, ET colleagues, and external vendors.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on ET operations, projects, and initiatives, effectively managing expectations within a matrixed environment.
