Join our Waymo Fleet Automation team, and help us design the future of transportation! We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer who wants to help build the systems that improve Waymo's core ride hailing and fleet management systems.
In this hybrid role, you will report to an Engineering Manager.
You will:
- Help build and evolve one or more mission-critical commercialization tools and systems
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to develop systems and processes as business needs grow and evolve
- Solve hard, real-world problems such as workflow optimization, field escalation handling, and more
You have:
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of backend/infra experience
We prefer:
- Experience with C++, java, or related structured programming language
- Experience with workflow automation
- Experience with embedded systems or embedded Linux
