SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Director of Operational Excellence and is responsible for aspects of the Home Care and Hospice division including regulatory compliance, health information management, administrative and clinical assistants, quality assurance performance improvement, education and emergency management.
The Assistant Director of Home Care Operations is responsible to ensure operations are in line with regulatory requirements and provides QAPI support and coaching to all lines of business. Position is responsible to establish and ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are in line with State and National benchmarks. Responsible for departmental budgets. The Assistant Director of Operations is informed of trends and developments in healthcare delivery and uses this information for the development of new programs. The Assistant Director collaborates with divisional and system leaders to ensure efficient and streamlined practices
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In collaboration with divisional leaders, establishes, coaches and monitors regulatory and QAPI planning.
Oversees the day to day operations in designated areas including resource utilization and optimizing the use of technology or other tools that will promote care accuracy and efficiencies.
Establish clear performance goals and ensure staff accountability for meeting or exceeding established targets.
Direct and oversee business planning and implementation of new services or key initiatives; provides strategic planning and project management oversight.
In partnership with system leaders, ensure communication and standardization & monitoring of emergency preparedness.
Works closely with system education leaders to grow and align educational opportunities, especially around competencies for new PHV.
Monitors operational data and dashboard reporting to facilitate coaching and change when appropriate. Sets targets based on State and National trends and achieves goals.
Ensure the accuracy of public information materials and activities.
Contact local, state and national associations and participate in meetings and conventions.
Participates in agency and other committees as requested.
Works collaboratively with other Extended Care and RRH leaders on a regular basis.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree
OR10 years of verifiable experience in Home Care leadership required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Home Care preferred
1+ years in a leadership position preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a highly complex organization
Must possess strong project management, process improvement and cross-group collaboration skills.
Experience in lean six sigma preferred.
This individual must demonstrate the ability to plan and execute.
Clinical licensure preferred.

PAY RANGE:
$85,000.00 - $115,000.00CITY:

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
