Railserve is hiring dependable, safety-focused Track Inspectors in Indiana to support rail infrastructure projects and ensure track conditions meet operational and safety standards. This is a field-based role working outdoors at customer sites and active rail environments.Who We Are

Job Description
In this role, you will assist with track inspections, identify defects, and support job site coordination to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with customer requirements.
You will work closely with operations and estimating teams to communicate findings and support project planning.

Full-time; schedule varies based on project and site needs
Compensation:
Starting salary: $55,000 per year (based on experience)
Duties
- Assist with track inspections and evaluate rail infrastructure conditions
- Identify defects and document findings for repair and maintenance planning
- Provide inspection reports to estimators to support project bidding
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure service meets customer expectations and timelines
- Assist in resolving customer service issues related to track conditions and project execution
- Maintain quality standards by following company procedures and safety protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success
Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 3–5 years of construction experience preferred
- 2+ years of field experience in construction or related environment preferred
- Project management experience, including cost analysis and budgeting, preferred
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
- Ability to work in a team environment with initiative and attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills with a focus on safety and quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and reports
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and active construction environments
- Ability to travel as required
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
