Responsibilities:
- You manage automotive manufacturers and suppliers while building strong, long-term customer relationships
- You identify new business opportunities, win customer projects and systematically grow existing accounts
- You provide application-focused technical advice and develop product recommendations based on specific customer requirements
- You manage revenue, account priorities and sales forecasts, translating commercial targets into focused actions
- You lead pricing and contract negotiations and clearly demonstrate the technical and commercial value of proposed solutions
- You contribute to project teams and leading independent projects designed to streamline sales processes and drive profitable growth;
- You give technical support for account managers during project work may account for up to 40% of working time.
Qualifications:
- Technical qualification in engineering or as a certified technician, or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience
- Sound understanding of technical systems, particularly machine elements or industrial applications
- Several years of experience in selling technically complex, consultative products or solutions
- Experience in technical customer consulting as well as pricing and contract negotiations
- Commercial understanding of revenue forecasting, profitable account development and competitive proposals
- Motivation to understand customer needs, develop new business and actively improve sales approaches and processes
- Good German and English language skills, willingness to travel and a valid driving licence
