Production Operator -Line 2 2nd Shift 3:45pm-12:15am

Position Summary:
Operates production line equipment to produce quality products in a safe manner.

Essential Responsibilities:
Operates and monitors production machinery on the production line.  Examples of equipment includes but not limited to mixers, wrappers, conveyor system, and others.  Operators are responsible for good manufacturing and safety practices including complying with OSHA requirements and attending OSHA training as scheduled. 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability for Position:
Basic literacy skills including ability to read and comprehend instructions and standard operating procedures.

Physical Demands:
• Physically capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 65 pounds
• Physically able to bend, reach, stoop, push and pull as required in a production operation
• Able to climb ladders, crawl under equipment and work in tight spaces.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods of time
• Physically capable of normal range of motion in all extremities
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures

Expectations for Position:
• Work variable hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Report to, begin and depart from work at scheduled times
• Practice of company standards for food safety, legality, quality and customer service

Education:
• Experience in production / manufacturing environment a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
