Join our Amwins Brokerage team in Franklin as a Brokerage Assistant!
This position is internally titled Technical Assistant.
This position is in office, with the potential of a hybrid schedule of three days a week in office once training is complete.
None of our positions are commission based or involve cold calling.
Each Brokerage Assistant provides vital team functions:
- General support for the marketing team
- Handling of change requests including the processing of endorsements and invoicing
- Processing quotes and binders
- Checking policies for accuracy
- Following up for underwriting items
- Handling quarterly reports for various accounts
- Procuring renewal solicitation letters
- Populating renewals in the system and providing renewal lists to the team
- Assist in accounting procedures and resolving late payment issues
- Data entry into multiple internet-based systems
We are looking for people with:
- At least one year of experience in an office environment
- Insurance experience is plus but not a must!
- Ability to prioritize important and pressing tasks
- Innate organizational skills, willingness to take on challenges, and focus on personal responsibility
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft 365 proficiency with an emphasis in Excel spreadsheets
