Department Overview

At Motorola Solutions, our technologies support public safety agencies and enterprises worldwide. When a crisis hits, our ASTRO 25 communication network is the mission-critical lifeline that first responders rely on. We are looking for an engineer to help us build the computing platforms that keep those systems running.

Job Description

The successful candidate will join our Transport team, which is responsible for developing the IP network infrastructure that serves as the backbone for our public safety systems. The role encompasses development of applications that assist our internal users in configuring networks for our customers. These applications are primarily Java-based and are used to generate configurations for Ethernet/IP networks.

Basic Requirements

• Proficiency in modern Java.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

• Basic knowledge of IP networks (routing, switching) is a plus.

• Ability to work from the Krakow office 2 days per week
