The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Business Operations Specialist (Level 4) to support our Business Operations team based in USA-Renton, Washington.
This is an exciting and challenging position within our 737 Business Operations team, focused on supporting our Program Commitments. The selected candidate will bring strong project management and problem-solving skills. Successful candidates are self-starters who can adapt strategies, plans, and solutions in response to dynamic business requirements. You will help drive business planning and decision making, operations, and business insights up and down the BCA value stream.
Position Responsibilities:
Act as the 737 Program representative in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as Price and Offerability, Rate planning, directives, and other strategic initiatives.
Regular interface and coordination across organizations throughout the 737-value stream and with the 737 Leadership Team
Must have the ability to be flexible to quickly adjust priorities as requirements change.
Must possess excellent project management, communication, computing and organizational skills
Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and makes recommendations to achieve cost / benefit objectives from inception through completion.
Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies
This position is expected to be 80% onsite, with 20% optional telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton, WA. This could change in the future due to business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience of managing projects simultaneously
5+ years of experience working across multiple programs and/or functions
5+ years of strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Leading/working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
Managing statement of work including planning and program directives
Experience developing presentations for and presenting to leadership
Typical Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
