Summary:
Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.(3x12hr shifts)
Responsibilities:
Performs unassisted trauma/stroke protocols inclusive of post-processing and procedures performed at Comprehensive Stroke Centers and Trauma Centers.Prioritizes clinical assignments and workflow to maintain efficient and safe patient care.Serves as a preceptor to new hires and/or students (2 students and/or new hires semi-annually).Serves as a clinical resource aiding in the overall education of the department.Maintains proficiency with advanced post-processing inclusive of TAVR exams.Performs charge responsibilities for assigned shift, as needed.Participates in Departmental Committees including protocol and policy development. CT Dose committee assistance mandatory.Provides peer feedback for performance evaluations.Competencies:
