Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must receive forklift and crane certificate within first six months of starting position
- Must develop good understanding and knowledge of shipping/receiving processes within first three months of starting position
- Previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have good organizational skills to attend to multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be proficient in computer operations
- Must exhibit high integrity and honesty
- Knowledge of freight and traffic requirements
- Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret technical procedures, diagrams, requirements, and business correspondences
- Ability to effectively and appropriately present information and respond to questions from various groups
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to effectively and courteously communicate with others
