Job Description:

 

Responsibilities • Serve as the point of contact for new hires and exiting team members. • Handle day-to-day onboarding and offboarding processes (monitor/update trackers; review survey data; post messages on new hire Teams channel; run New Hire-Buddy matching process; build campus onboarding agendas in Cvent; support business card ordering process). • Conduct new employee welcome/orientation session. Maintain updated onboarding and offboarding materials, including self-study courses in the Learning Management System, offboarding packets, and team intranet pages. • Analyze data which may include turnover, exit survey responses, and headcount reports. • Support onboarding and offboarding compliance-related tasks by sending reminders to new hires who haven’t completed required tasks, sending location-specific offboarding notices, and reviewing California time tracking reports for noncompliance • Conduct voluntary offboarding processes, including exit interviews. Reply to Tier 2 employee questions routed through the People Solutions Service Center, in alignment with firm policies and FAQ/Knowledge Base. • Review, respond to, and appropriately escalate (as needed) survey comments in the engagement survey tool. Assist with special projects related to employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, new hire tracking, internal transfers, engagement surveys, recognition, voluntary offboarding process documentation, global mobility). • Implement best practices in support of the Firm’s people strategy and collaborate with the firm-wide HR team to continually enhance Baker Tilly’s position as an employer of choice. • Demonstrate the desire to continually grow, learn, and develop skills and knowledge through training and crosstraining opportunities to maximize personal contribution to organizational goals. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field. • Minimum 1 year of experience in human resources; experience in a professional services environment and/or large organization (10,000+ employees) preferred. • U.S. Based Employees: PHR preferred. • Comprehensive understanding of HR principles. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and impact change in a matrix environment. • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and strong attention to detail. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, with a strong sense of urgency, commitment to quality, and timely completion of responsibilities. • Strong presentation skills. Experience with Microsoft Office is required. • Extraordinary diplomacy and capacity to manage highly confidential information with discretion. • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
