Your Team

The position will report to Distinguished Engineer, DSP

What You Will Do

• Develop Harman own sound algorithms per acoustic requirement.
• Work together with algorithms authors to take over microphone algorithms.
• Design DSP platforms to cater for different algorithms requirements(MIPS/Memory/Cost etc).
• Port and implement Sound/Voice algorithms into target DSP.
• Architect algorithms to various DSP system for product roadmap.
• Work with Acoustic or Microphone team for algorithm tuning.
• Regularly documenting findings, recommendations, algorithms, software, Etc.

What You Need

• Master degree in Digital Signal Processing, Math, Acoustics, Voice or other related major
• Rich experience developing sound or voice algorithms and proven record.
• Must be a self-starter who can take initiative and drive to successful conclusion
• Proficient in developing digital signal processing, audio/voice algorithm processing like FFT/IIR/FIR.
• Strong acoustic/voice signal module development background. Like limiter, EQ, Crossover, AEC, ANC, Leveler, beamforming.
• Proficient in C/Assembly/ C++ languages. Particularly Fixed-pointed C/Assembly programming.
• Strong Matlab experience.
• Familiar with common audio interface like I2S, TDM, PDM etc.
• Experience on Wolfson DSP, ADI Sharc, Qualcomm Hexagon, ARM NEON or CirrusLogic DSP is preferred
• Fluent Spoken English, Professional read and written English skill
