Job Description

Quality Control Inspector

Due to continued growth, Panalok Ltd. are recruiting a Quality Control Inspector to join their Quality Team.  

Based in Ennis, and reporting to the Quality Supervisor, this role is responsible for performing First Off, In Process, and Final inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with company standards. The position conducts patrol and ad hoc checks, utilizing handheld measurement equipment such as micrometers, verniers, pin & thread gauges, as well as automated systems like CMM and VMM. Responsibilities include calibrating measurement tools, collecting and inputting measurement data for track and trend analysis, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with company procedures and best practices. The role also upholds a clean and organized work area, adheres to all onsite health and safety regulations, and undertakes additional duties as assigned to support the overall quality assurance process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform First Off, In Process and Final Inspections
  • Carry out Patrol inspection and ad hoc checks
  • Utilise the following handheld equipment: Micro-meter; Vernier; Pin & Thread gauges
  • Use of Automated Measurement Systems, i.e. CMM / VMM etc.
  • Calibration of measurement equipment
  • Collection and input of measurement data for track & trend analysis
  • Ensure documentation is maintained in line with Company procedures and best practice
  • Housekeeping: ensure work area is kept clean & tidy
  • Adhere closely to all onsite Health & Safety Regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by your Supervisor

Required Qualifications / Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Metrology experience / knowledge would be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge or experience in QC / Inspection Lab would be desirable
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude with strong attention to detail are essential
  • Must have fluent English both written and verbal
  • Team player with can do attitude and flexibility in terms of working hours.
